Increasing Node Density to Improve the Network Lifetime in Wireless Network

In a wireless network, if the sensors are deployed uniformly across the network, energy depletion rates will be different for their different traffic intensities depending on their locations. Usually, the sensors near the sink consume more energy so they deplete their energy sooner, when enough of them exhaust their energy, they leave holes in the network, causing the remaining nodes to be disconnected from the sink. To avoid energy holes and for achieving maximum network lifetime deployment strategies proposes three inventions, first deploy the sensors in network and then propose energy consumption model for accurate energy hole avoidance. Based on energy consumption model preceding the deployment strategy that ensures a guaranteed FDT (first node die time) and ADT (all node die time) of network with minimum number of sensors which are deployed in WSN. Finally derive residual energy ratio of the network at FDT and ADT.
